GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd is a newly established and growing team focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Based in Leixlip, our Irish operations are supported by the wider GP Joule Group in Germany, combining local agility with international expertise.

Project Manager
The RoleWe are seeking an energetic and proactive Project Manager to join our team in Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, resourceful, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will manage projects from tender stage through to client handover, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and the ability to work across multiple functions, including procurement, logistics, and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all phases of the project life cycle, from contract award through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring seamless execution and completion.
- Serve as the central point of contact and coordinator for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, while liaising effectively with internal procurement and engineering teams.
- Manage and process contracts diligently, encompassing changes, claims, and ensuring compliance with contract terms to safeguard project integrity.
- Direct management of external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and services, aligning with project objectives.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with close monitoring of costs and cash flows to maintain financial health.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, providing insights to the Country Manager and senior management on project developments and milestones.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with experience as a Cost Engineer or QS (knowledge of CESSIM or similar desirable).
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure works within the renewable energy / power or civil engineering sectors, ideally including Solar PV and/or wind projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and standard forms (e.g., FIDIC) and familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and achieve positive outcomes.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana) and the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, combining a structured yet flexible approach with high self-motivation, and adaptability to take on multiple responsibilities in a dynamic start-up environment.
