GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd is a newly established and growing team focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Based in Leixlip, our Irish operations are supported by the wider GP Joule Group in Germany, combining local agility with international expertise.

Graduated Engineer
The RoleWe are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our EPC team in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain broad, hands-on experience across the full EPC project lifecycle. The role will involve both office-based and site-based work, providing exposure to technical design, planning, procurement, and project management while supporting the delivery of solar and BESS projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with technical design, encompassing drawings, calculations, and documentation for solar PV and BESS projects, alongside tasks related to planning, logistics, permitting, and site preparation.
- Contribute to the full project management process, focusing on cost, time, and quality monitoring, as well as coordinating project activities and preparing reports.
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers, service providers, and grid operators throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with procurement teams during tendering processes, along with supplier and material management, and engage with internal teams from technology, construction, and trade to ensure successful project execution.
- Define specifications and evaluate offers for necessary services or materials, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Participate in site visits, assessments, inspections, and construction activities, gaining practical on-site experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering fields such as electrical, mechanical, civil, renewable energies, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energies, ideally with some initial exposure to solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, complemented by excellent problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail.
- A structured working style defined by robust communication skills and a strong ability for team collaboration.
- Willingness to work flexibly both in the office and on-site, with the readiness to travel to project locations as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design or modeling tools like AutoCAD or PVsyst is advantageous but not mandatory.
