GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd is a newly established and growing team focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Based in Leixlip, our Irish operations are supported by the wider GP Joule Group in Germany, combining local agility with international expertise.

 We are looking for a full-time employee for GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd. to start as soon as possible at our locations in Leixlip Office (hybrid model preferred):

Tender & Procurement Coordinator

The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Tender & Procurement Coordinator to support our Irish operations in preparing bids and managing procurement activities. This role will be central to coordinating tender submissions, sourcing local subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring contracts are aligned with client requirements and internal standards. The successful candidate will work closely with both the Irish and German teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement and commercial processes.

In addition, the role will involve assisting the team in collating tender responses, reviewing all documentation, advising senior management and producing procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Researching, identifying, and monitoring potential tender opportunities for the company, as well as assisting with the compilation and submission of framework agreements and prequalification documents
  • Coordinating the various regional tender efforts of the internal sales and trading teams and external stakeholders, including the preparation and compilation of tender documents
  • Tracking and reporting on tender results, maintaining a database of all tenders involved, and deriving recommendations for action and potential for improvement from the resulting key figures
  • Ensuring that contracts and terms and conditions comply with customer agreements, as well as identifying and integrating suitable local subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assisting in the evaluation of bids and the creation and maintenance of procurement documents in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Participating in the design of procurement processes, documentation standards, and procurement-related reporting for project managers
Requirements
  • Circa two years of experience in tendering, procurement, supply chain management, or commercial coordination would be great, ideally within the construction, engineering, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Familiarity with public sector tendering procedures, framework tenders, bid preparation, and contract and supplier management is desirable.
  • Good data management and reporting skills, combined with a solid commercial understanding, are desirable attributes.
  • Ability to set priorities and communicate clearly facilitating effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications, tender portals, and procurement platforms is necessary.
  • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style enabling efficient and flexible organization of daily tasks.
